Last Sunday I was lucky enough to get to go to Portland Oregon for Rose City Comic-con. It was the first comic con I've been too, and definitely won't be my last! RCCC was super crowded, but 100% worth fighting our way through the crowds! I didn't end up getting any pictures inside of the actual convention, but there were some amazing costumes and booths. Mostly it was art vendors and vendors whom owned small local or sub-local shops. Of course, RCCC isn't like SDCC where companies that actually produce toys make exclusives, but it's still quite fun!
The rest of the week was spent in Portland and Seattle. I found some awesome little stores such as Sweet Kitty in Kent WA, Daiso Japan *Japanese dollar store*, and Uwajimaya/Kinokuniya book store located both in Seattle and Portland.
We went to the beach and shopping for various things- my boyfriend Brandon hunting for carnivorous plants along the way. I have tons of pictures I will be posting under the Adventures & Travel tab, so check there for more info!
I'm sure we could've bought much more, but unfortunately the little rental car we got was better on MPG than storage space. I can't wait to share with you all what I was able to find and my experiences in these amazing towns!
BTW- Sorry for bad pictures! We got home very late last night but I still wanted to get some pictures taken before going to bed. It's a fourteen hour drive from Seattle WA to my home town in Montana.
