Though my Amiibo still haven't gotten here from Target.com (which worries me a little, given I can't be sure box condition is perfect), they should be arriving within the next couple of days. I did go to TRU and get the Bowser Jr. amiibo and stop by Target later in the day to pick up one I had been considering buying to open. *Yeah, right!*
My local Target still had two Olimar/Pikmin and several Dr. Mario in stock. Gannon, Zero Suit Samus, and Classic 8-Bit Mario as well as their exclusive puzzle cube for Mario Maker were all sold out. I do feel like I should've been there a bit earlier to get the cube, but not much I can do now.
All of the Amiibo I received from Target had boxes in terrible condition. Dr. Mario had a spot on the back of his packaging that appeared to have been torn off by tape or something sticky getting stuck on the back and then removed. 30th anniversary Mario was coming open at the bottom of the package. Zero Suit Samus box was basically bent in half.
Overall I'm really disappointed with Targets shipping methods. When an item rattles around in a package- that isn't appropriate shipping. I could've gotten all of these on sale from my place of work had I known that they were going to come in this condition. (Except for Dr. Mario of course, though since I saw him at Target I could've gotten him there too.) As a person that doesn't open my Amiibos and cares about the quality of their boxes/packaging, I can't recommend ordering from Target online.
I hope you all had great luck with the Amiibo and were able to find most/all of the ones you were looking for!
Until next time, happy hunting!
